Just a thought to help start your week.

Well, it’s Monday again.  Usually I focus on the week ahead, but today I would like to ask you about yesterday.  It was Sunday.  I hope you spent at least a portion of your day in a Bible-believing house of God.  It was a good day.

The beautiful stained glass windows you see here are just a few of those in the Saint Severin English Catholic Church in Paris.  Your church may have some stained glass somewhere as well.  What makes windows like these so beautiful is the sun shining through them.  The light of the sun illuminates all of the colors and designs in the windows to make quite a spectacular display.

By worshiping, by focusing on the Lord, you are allowing the Son to have access to your life.  And with access to your life and to your week ahead, the Son-Light will have opportunity to shine through you, illuminating all of your special talents and gifts, creating quite a spectacular display.

Think on yesterday as you prepare for today and the week ahead.  Did you soak up enough of the Son-Light to illuminate the world around you?  Make a difference this week.  Shine on.
